Cedar Moon’s polished style of percussion-driven funk-rock weaves magic with the simplest of tools. Engaging and well-written "catchy" tunes, a solid and hard-hitting rhythm section, great vocals and screamin’ guitar all working together to create the magic spells.

Songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist Craig Olson is the catalyst for Cedar Moon’s unique and professional sound. Two songs from Craig’s debut CD "Beyond the Cedar Moon" reached the top 10 in genre on MP3.com. Vic Jackson, former drummer with one of Canada’s best rock bands The Splatterboys, rocks hard and steady with one of the biggest drums sounds you’ll ever hear; Sid Miller, with chops honed in the vicious New York scene lays down a deep & funky bass; Phil Heaven, a professional recording engineer and producer for record label "Soundings of the Planet" on sweet & nasty viola!

Based in Bellingham, Washington Cedar Moon has performed at Seattle Hempfest, Arlington Garlic & Music Festival, NW Herbal Faire, Wild Buffalo, Vashon Island Earthfair and many other venues in the Pacific Northwest. We are a finalist in Red Hook Brewery's Band Slam 4, sponsored by KISM 92.9 and Turtle Recording studio. Not for the timid or faint of heart, Cedar Moon is all about loud, kick-butt rock and funk.
